How the hive works.
The short manual: what a cell is, where the 1% goes, and how to stay safe.
Cells
A cell is a coin started on Humcomb. Starting one creates the token with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 and opens its Uniswap v4 pool against ETH in the same transaction. The starting liquidity is placed by the contract and stays there — there is no function that takes it back out.
Because the pool is a normal Uniswap v4 pool, a cell can be traded from any wallet, router or aggregator that reaches Uniswap v4 on Robinhood Chain, not only from this website.
The 1% fee
Every swap in a cell's pool pays a flat 1%, collected in ETH by the pool's hook. The hook forwards it to the splitter, which divides it on the spot:
- 45% — Cell creator. Paid in ETH to whoever started the cell.
- 40% — $HUMCOMB keepers. Streams pro-rata to staked $HUMCOMB.
- 10% — Season jar. Builds the prize jar the swarm flies for.
- 5% — The hive (platform). Keeps the lights on. That is all we take.
The rate and the split are constants in the contracts. They are not settings.
Keepers
Stake $HUMCOMB and you are a keeper. The keeper share of every fee, from every cell, is streamed to stakers in proportion to their stake. There is no lock: unstaking simply ends your stream from that block.
Seasons
The season jar collects 10% of every fee for 28 days, then pays the creators of the eight busiest cells. See the Swarm page for the exact payout table.
Contracts
The contracts are not deployed yet. When they are, every address will be listed here with a link to its verified source on the explorer. Until then, any “Humcomb” contract you are shown is not ours.
The steward wallet has exactly two one-time powers: wiring the hook and hive into the Apiary, and opening the doors to the public. It cannot pause, change fees, or touch anyone's liquidity or nectar.
Stay safe
- The only official $HUMCOMB address is the one published on this site and on our own channels.
- We will never DM you first, and we will never ask for a seed phrase or a “validation” transaction.
- Coins started by other people are their coins. A place on the comb is not an endorsement.
